PEELs and resurfacing treatments in london, ontario

controlled depth. targeted renewal

peels + resurfacing

The word "peel" covers everything from a light enzyme mask to a deep clinical resurfacing treatment.

The mechanism, depth, and outcome are completely different.  We carry two. Each serves a distinct role.

how peels actually work

  • what do chemical peels actually do?

All chemical peels work by disrupting the bond between skin cells at a controlled depth. The skin responds by shedding damaged layers and generating new, healthier tissue underneath.

  • What is a superficial peel?

Works at the outermost layer only. Brightens, smooths, and lightly exfoliates. Recovery is minimal. Results are subtle and cumulative.

  • What is a medium-depth peel?

Penetrates past the surface into the layer where pigment, texture damage, and congestion actually live. The skin visibly turns over. There's real shedding, rebuilding, and correction. Recovery takes several days.

  • What is a biostimulating peel?

Adds a regenerative layer to the process. Exfoliates, but also delivers active compounds that stimulate the skin's own repair biology — collagen, elastin, cellular renewal. Resurfacing plus revitalisation.

We use one of each: a medium-depth corrective peel and a biostimulating maintenance peel. They serve different patients, different phases, and different goals.

Clinical Resurfacing Peel

60 min  · Corrective

WHAT IT DOES

A medium-depth resurfacing peel that accelerates cellular turnover, regulates pigment activity, and clears deep congestion. This treatment works beneath the surface — dissolving the bond between damaged cells so the skin can shed what's holding it back and rebuild with improved clarity, tone, and texture.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Mild redness, warmth, and tightness immediately after. Light flaking over 3–5 days. Avoid retinol, acids, and exfoliants for 5–7 days. SPF daily. Makeup fine the next day. Avoid sun, heat, and intense exercise for 48 hours.

Dullness and uneven tone

when the skin looks flat, tired, or grey despite consistent skincare.

Pigmentation and sun damage

post-inflammatory marks, melasma-adjacent discolouration, accumulated UV damage.

Breakout-prone and congested skin

active congestion, clogged pores, recurring breakouts.

Fine lines and early aging

improves fine lines, crepe-like texture, and skin density over time.
